As British agriculture’s biggest customer, Tesco are proud to be sponsoring the Farmers Weekly Young Farmer of the Year award.

At Tesco we recognise the importance of supporting and encouraging the next generation of farmers to ensure the long-term prosperity of UK agriculture.

We recently announced a scholarship scheme for the dairy farmers of the future through our pioneering sustainable dairy group and we’ll be investing an annual £25million in the British beef and pig industries which will see Tesco establish direct partnerships with farmers, allowing them to invest and plan for the future.

We look forward to working with these farmers and getting them involved in our sustainable farming groups to grow strong relationships and produce high quality, high welfare products for our customers.
